Algiers Lock Update

Date: 8/10/2023 thru 8/12/2023

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 23-100, dated 7 August 2023, stating that Algiers Lock will be closed to navigation beginning on Thursday 10 August 2023 and continuing through Saturday 12 August 2023, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. each day, for a U.S. Government Hired Labor Unit making necessary repairs to the gate located at the canal end of the structure.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, THE GATE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND ALGIERS LOCK HAS RESUMED NORMAL OPERATIONS.
