Amendment to No. 22-115: Mississippi River & Southwest Pass

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-115, dated 26 September 2022, stating that the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge ROBERT M. WHITE will be working in Southwest Pass from Head of Passes (mile 0) to approximately mile 22 Below Head of Passes (BHP), and in the Mississippi River from Head of Passes to approximately mile 13 Above Head of Passes (AHP) until approximately 10 October 2022.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE DREDGING OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 15 OCTOBER 2022.

The dredged material will be deposited through a combination of floating and submerged pipelines into designated placement areas.

The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be contacted on either VHF channel 67 or 16 for sailing instructions.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
