NOTICE OF DAILY CLOSURES DURING DIVING ACTIVITIES - CHOUTEAU L&D No. 17, NM 401.4 (Update)

Reference Navigation Notice : 19406-1. Mariners can expect daily closures from May 17th thru May 20th at Chouteau L&D 17 due to diving operations. Daily shut down will be eight hours between the hours of 0800 and 1600 while inspections are in progress. Navigation traffic is asked to plan accordingly around these daily closures.

There are uncertainties in the amount of time the contractor needs to complete their work as scheduled and unforeseen issues could require additional time. The tentative schedule published in Navigation Notice 19406-1 is subject to change further and mariners are advised to stay up to date with the latest information and be advised further Navigation Notices will be released with all updates and changes. Waterway users are asked to check with Lock 17 for the latest information and should schedule their activities around this notice.
