Lock 18 is open and ready for traffic.

Crews cleared debris from the upstream Miter Gates late last night and just finished clearing all the remaining debris from the upstream approach.

Date: 05/06/2022 13:30 thru UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE CDT

Newt Graham L&D No. 18 is closed to Navigation traffic, until further notice, due to drift and debris blocking the upstream approach as a result of the high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The lock will reopen once the lock approach obstruction is cleared.
