Notice is given that effective immediately, the auxiliary chamber at Captain Anthony Meldahl Locks and Dam, Ohio River, mile 436.2 is closed until further notice. This closure is due to safety concerns resulting from the condition of the miter gates. Updates to this notice will be issued once repairs are scheduled.

During the auxiliary chamber closure, the main chamber will be available for lockage. Mariners are urged to contact the lockmaster via marine channel 13 for more information.
