Baton Rouge Harbor

Commencing on approximately 7 October 2022 and continuing until approximately 15 October 2022, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge CAPTAIN FRANK will perform dredging operations at Baton Rouge Harbor.

Dredged material will be deposited into deep water of the Mississippi River via a floating pipeline.

The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be monitoring VHF channels 13 and 16.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.

Besides dredging equipment, there are numerous work and support vessels associated with this dredging operation.
