Category I Channel Closure request at Powell Industries in Carpenters Bayou for Roll On operations is APPROVED for Friday, November 4 2022 from 0700 to 1400 (local).

Houston Traffic will make the appropriate closure notification broadcast:

“VESSEL TRAFFIC SERVICE HOUSTON GALVESTON DIRECTS NO VESSEL MOVEMENTS IN CARPENTER’S BAYOU AT POWELL INDUSTRIES ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 2022 FROM 0700-1400 (LOCAL) DUE TO ROLL ON/ROLL OFF OPERATIONS.

VESSELS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STOP OR PUSH IN ALONG CHANNEL DURING THE CLOSURE.
