ERB is accepting applications for a CCE Sales Representative (Fenton, MO)

The CCE Sales Representative is responsible for developing prospects and delivering sales of Compact Construction Equipment (Consumer Work Products) in a defined territory.


The representative must be motivated and committed to meeting customer’s needs, growing market share, maintaining established levels of gross profit and exceeding unit sales targets.

Job Function:

Working conditions may vary from well-lit office environment to outside conditions that may include high noise levels and/or extreme outdoor temperatures.  Must be able to sit for up to 75% of the workday.  May occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Valid Driver’s License in good standing is required.  This job may require long days, flexible hours and some weekends.  Some travel is required.

Job Essential Duties:

  1. Communicates with current prospects and new prospects for sales; plans sales calls and make sales presentations.
  1. Quotes and negotiates prices and credit terms, preparing contracts and monitoring accounts.
  1. Maintains product knowledge by participating in training and educational programs, and provides great customer service and technical assistance as needed.
  1. Maintains regular communications with customers and prospects, building relationships and increasing brand recognition.
  2. Attends and presents at demonstrations, open house programs, exhibits, and industry meetings.
  1. Maintains sales management information and prepares reports on business trends and call activity.
  1. Maintains familiarity with new equipment and technology by participating in training and educational programs.
  1. Conducts undercarriage appraisals and submits quotes (approved by Service Manager) to customers for repairs/replacement.
  1. All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Senior Management
Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 1 year sales experience in industrial construction equipment and/or agricultural equipment experience.
  1. Knowledge of construction machine operation and application and ability to demonstrate key product features and benefits to customers.
  1. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone effectively with both large and small groups in English.
  1. Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to satisfactorily resolve customer concerns.
  1. Good understanding of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
