Channel Maintenance Dredging: Livingston Point, OHRM 932

Notice is given that “Luhrs Bros., Inc” will commence maintenance dredging at Livingston Point (Ohio River Mile 932). Approximate dates for this dredging will be 26 August – 01 September 2023.

Dredging operations will be conducted 24 hours per day, seven days per week. During this period, the Dredge Bill Holman will be in the navigation channel and the disposal pipeline may be crossing the navigation channel, requiring the disposal pipeline to be opened for passing traffic. Contact the Dredge Bill Holman for passing instructions on marine channel 13. Once contact has been made with the Dredge Bill Holman, proceed at the slowest safe speed.

The contractor’s floating plant will consist of the Dredge Bill Holman, M/V’s LENARD and BUDDY, and the ROBERT T, one shop barge, one spill barge, and floating pipeline sections. The Dredge Bill Holman, M/V’s LENARD and BUDDY will be monitoring marine channel 13.
