CHANNEL MAINTENANCE DREDGING - SCHEDULED NIGHTLY CLOSURES
USACE Dredge Hurley
Cairo Hwy Bridge, Upper Mississippi River mile 1.3

Commencing on Saturday, 22 July 2023, the Dredge Hurley will perform channel maintenance dredging in the vicinity of the Cairo Highway Bridge, mile 1.3 Upper Mississippi River. Work is expected to last 7 days and complete on 29 July 2023.

Due to site conditions, the river will be closed for dredging operations from 1800 hours to 0600 hours each night. Night time closures will start on Saturday 22 July 2023. The river will be open for transit from 0600 to 1800 daily.

The Dredge Hurley may be contacted on VHF-FM radio channels 13 and 16. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made with the Dredge Hurley.
