CISA: 2022 Dams Sector Information Sharing Drill
2022 Dams Sector Information Sharing Drill on May 3-4, 2022
REGISTRATION OPENS ON MONDAY, MARCH 14th
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), as the Dams Sector Risk Management Agency (SRMA), will be hosting the 2022 Dams Sector Information Sharing Drill on May 3-4, 2022. You and your staff are invited to participate. We would appreciate it if you would also promote the drill with your membership. Attached is a fact sheet that you may share with your staff. The drill is open to all sector stakeholders representing owners and operators (e.g., operations, emergency managers, and engineers), first responders responding to dam and levee incidents, and others that support the sector (e.g., associations, regulators, consultants).
The 2022 Dams Sector Information Sharing Drill serves as a learning environment for sector stakeholders to identify and assess information-sharing issues and concerns that could potentially affect the sector during heightened threat conditions. During the drill, conducted virtually, a detailed scenario will stress-test the effectiveness of the sector’s information-sharing mechanisms, processes, and procedures. The scenario will address two phases of an incident (preparedness and response) and three steps in the attack planning cycle (surveillance, procuring materials, and testing security measures).
The 2022 Dams Sector Information Sharing Drill will be conducted virtually over a period of two days, starting May 3, 2022. Two administrative calls will be held in support of the drill: a kickoff call on April 26, 2022 and a hot wash call on May 6, 2022. Participation details for all events will be sent out to registered participants.
Registration is open from March 14, 2022 to April 18, 2022. Click on the following link or scan the QR code in the fact sheet to register: forms.office.com/g/s92wBX2Kk6.
