The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security is proud to host the following training opportunity for non-IT personnel. This training will help create or test cybersecurity plans. Also, training like this will help put the pieces in place for upcoming cyber grants.
Cyber Table Top Exercise hosted by CISA – 4 hours.
Remote/Virtual via MS Teams AND in-person @ BLANDFORD LECTURE HALL, Owensboro Community and Technical College, 4800 New Hartford Rd., Owensboro, KY 42301.
May 5th 2022, 8 AM – 12 PM Central Time
This exercise will provide an environment to enable participants to develop or test cybersecurity preparedness and response plan(s) with the assistance of subject matter experts from various state and federal agencies. Attendees are not required to have any cybersecurity experience or existing plans in place. The exercise will be non-technical and will be focused on the operational side of cyber incident response. IT staff are encouraged to participate, but we would also like to see some of the following on the attendee list:
- Judge Executives
- Directors or Heads of Departments
- Emergency Managers
- Legal Departments
