Closure at Demopolis Lock

Notice is given to mariners that Demopolis Lock will be closed to traffic for maintenance on 10-MAY-2023. Repairs to the downstream miter gate cylinders are scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. CT, last approximately 10 hours, and tentatively reopen at 5:00 p.m. CT. A follow-up notice to navigation will be issued once the maintenance work is complete and the lock is open to traffic.
