Mechanical dredging (Strike Removal) operations will commence on Saturday, 20-August-2022 and will continue until Further Notice at Cherokee, UMR 424.1-424.5. Placement will be on the left descending bank near UMR 425.7. Dredging will be performed 7 days per week, 12 hrs per day, 0600-1800.

Mariners are requested to contact the MV Laura K or MV Clee on channel 13 or 7, THIRTY minutes prior to transiting the area.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
