IAMPE Port Executive SEMINAR

Program Objective

The objective of the Port Executive Seminar is to orient the executive to the current trends in the public and private port sector, specifically in Business Development and Strategic Planning. The 4-hour program focuses on current trends in the industry as well as processes related to how to develop business and plan your port for success. The confidential forum allows the participant to openly discuss issues and ask questions regarding port activities. The seminar leader will offer a neutral view of what works in ports and what doesn’t, and how proper planning can lead to business development and success.

Business development activities includes a wide array of information and data collection. This course will help you identify those information and data sources to assist in marketing your location for tenant attraction and commodity exploration.

Using the strategic and master planning guidance provided in the class will assist the participant in identifying both short- and long-term goals, track progress and return on investment to ultimately achieve success in growth.
