Cumberland River Closure CRM2.8 (U.S. Highway 60 Smithland Bridge Replacement)

Beginning on September 12 – 14, 2022 the Cumberland River will be closed to all navigation traffic. American Bridge company will be placing the channel span truss of the new US HWY 60 (Smithland) bridge. This work will begin at 05:30 am morning of September 12,2022 through 10pm on September 14, 2022. The contractor’s equipment will be moored on site within the navigation channel during this time frame. Marine radio channels will be monitored for vessel traffic communication.
