DOWN TVA TRANSMISSION LINE TN RIVER MILE MARKER 411

There has been a down TVA Line across the TN River near River Mile Marker 411 and county Rd 91 in Alabama. Transmission has a crew in route, US Coast Guard has sent out a message to all mariners, and all marine police have been notified. Jackson County Sheriffs Office cannot offer any assistance at this time, TVAP inspector is in route to location.

TN RIVER SHUTDOWN TVA TRANSMISSION LINE REPAIR TN RIVER MILE MARKER 411

TN River shutdown while TVA resumes operations on Monday to replace the line since we had to cut the old one and now will have to pull a new one. Plans will be to have to completely shut the river down Monday-Wednesday during daylight hours only. We will have three boats in the water to warn boaters to keep out. Two boats will have white/yellow flashing lights and one will be the TVA Police with blue lights.
