Dredging: Galveston Harbor Channel (Hopper Dredging)

Hopper Dredge “Glenn Edwards” (Manson Construction Co.) will be operating in the Galveston Harbor Channel between Bolivar Roads to Exxon Oil Dock. Dredge material will be placed in ODMDS Area No. 1 Zones C and E. Contractor’s related floating plant such as survey boats will be used in and around the work areas. Work will start December 14, 2022, with expected completion of December 20, 2022.

Mariners are requested to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
Dredging operations are continuous, 24 hrs., 7 days, unless otherwise noted.

Dredge contractor monitors channels 13, 16, and 66 on marine VHF radio, respective dredges should be contacted for coordination of passing and movement near operations.
