Dredging of Pensacola Entrance Channel

Manson Construction Company's cutterhead pipeline dredge Robert M. White will begin dredging operations in the Pensacola Entrance Channel on or around November 1, 2023. The dredged material will be placed onto the adjacent (down-drift) Perdido Key Beach west of the entrance channel. Dredging and beach placement activities are expected to continue for approximately three months.

Floating and submerged pipeline will be used to transport the dredged material ashore and will be in close vicinity to the entrance channel. Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting these areas.

The dredge will work 24-hours per day, 7-days per week and can be contacted on VHF Channels 13 and 16.
