Dredging on the Lower Miss: New Orleans Harbor

Commencing on approximately 1 November 2022 and continuing through approximately 7 November 2022, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge MIKE HOOKS will be working in the New Orleans Harbor.
The dredge will work 24 hours a day, and dredged material will be deposited through floating pipelines into deep water of the Mississippi River.
The dredge will be monitoring VHF channels 16 and 67.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
