NAVIGATION BULLETIN NO. 22-73, 27 JUNE 2022, GULF INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY (MORGAN CITY-PORT ALLEN ALT RTE) - PORT ALLEN LOCK
The dredging operations will occur 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, during daylight hours.
The M/V STRONG can be reached on VHF marine channels 16 and 67.

Commencing on or about Wednesday, 29 June 2022, and continuing through approximately Friday, 15 July 2022, a U.S. Government Hired Labor Unit will be dredging on the back side of the floating guidewall on the river end of Port Allen Lock, and side casting material over the guidewall into the lock forebay.
The dredging operations will occur 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, during daylight hours.
The M/V STRONG can be reached on VHF marine channels 16 and 67.
Mariners can expect intermittent delays and should transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with extreme caution.
