Dredging Operations: Houma Navigation Canal Terrebonne Bay

Commencing on or about 26 April 2023 and continuing through approximately 26 May 2023, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge ROBERT WHITE will be working in Houma Terrebonne Bay from approximately mile 5 to approximately mile 9.25.

The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dredged material will be deposited into open water, through a floating pipeline, approximately 2000 feet west of the Houma Navigation Canal channel centerline. The dredge can be contacted on either VHF channel 13 or 16.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
