NAVIGATION BULLETIN NO. 22-74, 27 JUNE 2022, MISSISSIPPI RIVER - DEEP DRAFT CROSSINGS
Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the U.S. Government Contract Hopper Dredge GLENN EDWARDS will be working at the Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossings between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.
The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will give way to vessels using the waterway. The dredge can be contacted on either VHF channel 16 or 67 for sailing instructions.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
