Dredging Operations: Panama City Channel

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co.’s hopper dredges Dodge Island and Padre Island will begin dredging operations in the Panama City entrance channel, on or around 28 September 2023. The dredged material will be placed on the adjacent beach at St. Andrews State Park. Dredging and beach placement activities are expected to continue for approximately four to six weeks.

The dredge plant can be contacted on VHF-FM Channels 13 and 16. Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting this area.
