The US cement market continues to grow steadily (3% in 2018) while it is recognized across the political divide that there is still a significant infrastructure deficit that needs to be addressed. However, with analysts suggesting that domestic capacity utilization will top 90% by 2020, it is likely that cement and clinker imports will continue to grow across the country at a significant rate (9% nationally in 2018), imports in our host state of Texas alone were up almost 30% last year. This is very much in contrast to the scenario facing much of the rest of the global market where we are witnessing huge overcapacity and exportable surpluses.

Registration opens at 5:30 PM thru 7:00 PM on Monday, October 7th followed by a “welcome cocktail” from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Tuesday, October 8th is a full day of conference beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding with drinks and dinner beginning at 5:40 PM. Wednesday, October 9th coffee and welcome will begin at 8:30 AM and the conference will end at 3:45 PM with farewell drinks.
