IRPT: ZOOM Meet and Greet

April 27, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am CDT

IRPT Members,

You are invited to attend an IRPT virtual meet and greet via zoom, on Tuesday, April 27th at 10:00 am central time. We are excited to introduce this new series to be held each month to cover exciting IRPT updates, introduce new members and offer tutorials and demonstrations.

Space is limited to 100 participants and registration is required. To Register, please visit https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0ldemqqDIqEtyQlIoUqAk042P0fhAX1khg

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. On April 27th, IRPT is proud to introduce you to:

Carrie Foor, Executive Director of the Transload Distributors Association of North America (TDANA). TDANA is an international trade association representing transloaders, railroads, and shippers across all the major commodity groups including: Agriculture, Forest Products, Building Materials, Machinery, Mining, Chemicals, Raw Materials, Food, and Consumer Products.

Kristen DeMarco with GHD will introduce the GHD services, including engineering, construction and architectural expertise in areas of water, energy and urbanization. Port expansions and upgrades are often required to meet these dynamic demands. Management of aging port assets, including remediation, is a key requirement in ensuring port productivity and safety. GHD helps port authorities, asset owners and operators involved in bulk ports, container terminals and general cargo terminals, achieve ongoing success.

Stan Ekren, Director of Business Development for Great Lakes Dredge and Dock. GLDD is North America’s dredging industry leader, the largest provider of marine dredging, and the only U.S. company with substantial overseas operations. GLDD owns and operates a diverse dredging fleet comprised of numerous specialized maritime vessels and operates marine yards in five locations nationwide.

IRPT started the zoom meet and greet series on March 30th. During that meeting, attendees were treated to introductions to:

Sean Tenerelli with Superior-Lidgerwood-Mundy (SLM), a new IRPT Member. SLM specializes in the design, production, and integration of mechanical machinery, with extensive industry experience in winch and hoist systems. SLM equipment is designed to industry accepted ANSI and ASME standards and is paired with state-of-the-art controls to uniquely match our client’s project requirements.

Also offered on March 30, Nelson Spencer, Jr. and the Waterways Journal team. The WJ demonstrated the Waterways Journal’s new online marketplace platform. The weekly classifieds section of the print edition is now accessible through the online marine marketplace. With over 10 categories, the marketplace helps connect sellers with targeted buyers and companies with qualified personnel. Along with the online listings, the classifieds are shared via a weekly marketplace e-mail — with dedicated eblast options available, as well.
