The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold webinars on June 20 and 28 on its “Revolutionize Civil Works” initiative. The goal of Revolutionize USACE Civil Works (CW) is to expedite delivery of our nation’s infrastructure by synchronizing actions, developing new tools, and streamlining activities.

The webinars are a follow-up to a day-long stakeholder session held at USACE Headquarters last month. NWC participated in that discussion. As reported, we are encouraged that the Revolutionize team is responsive to our concerns. No doubt, there is more to be done, and we encourage you to participate in the webinars to express your views. Attached for your reference are a summary of that discussion and an overview of accomplishments to date.

As explained by USACE, the webinars will provide an overview of the Revolutionize USACE CW efforts and the actions taken to date. An opportunity for discussion will follow the presentation. The USACE Infrastructure Team is interested in obtaining feedback on ongoing actions, ideas about how USACE can improve project delivery and streamline permitting within our current authorities, and any impacts USACE’s actions have had on your efforts to date.
