Dear Members, Partners and Associates:

We would like to invite you to be a part of our 2023 Annual Meeting of the Warrior- Tombigbee Waterway Association, as we celebrate 73 years of leadership on behalf of safe and efficient navigation of the Warrior-Tombigbee River System.

LOCATION. The location of our 73rd Annual Meeting will be the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama. The weather should be nice and the meeting especially enjoyable because you will be treated to great views and information that will be important to your company, plus you will make many contacts.
The resort has set aside a block of hotel rooms reserved for May 7-14 starting at $249 per night with other options available at discounted rates. Rooms can be reserved online at: https://www.perdidobeachresort.com/ or by calling the resort at (800) 634-8001. Make sure to mention that the event is the “Warrior Tombigbee Waterway Association 2023 Annual Meeting” and that the Booking ID is 19559. Also, please remember to make your hotel reservations before the group rate deadline of Thursday, April 13th.

GOLF TOURNAMENT. We will host our annual golf tournament on Wednesday, May 10th. More details will soon be available on our website. We invite you to reserve your spot, or your team’s, quickly. Lunch will be provided for golfers, as will special prizes.

REGISTRATION opens Wednesday evening at 5:30 in the foyer, with the Early Bird Reception in Sand Castle on the lobby level from 6:00 until 7:00.

CANCELLATIONS for attendance must be received no later than Thursday, May 5th to be issued a refund. (All refunds will be issued by check.)

THE GENERAL SESSION begins Thursday morning in the Ballroom at 8:00, with the Users and Operators Committee Meeting, which all are invited to attend. Partners’ presentations will begin at 9:00. We have invited some very interesting speakers that you will not want to miss.

THURSDAY EVENING MEMBERSHIP RECEPTION AND DINNER will be held in the Ballroom. Spouses may register to attend at no extra charge. The reception begins at 6:00 p.m. and dinner begins at 7:00 p.m.

MEMBERSHIP MEETING. The General Membership Business Meeting will begin Friday morning, May 12th, at 7:30 with breakfast in the Ballroom, followed by the Business Meeting at 8:30. Election of Board members and Officers will be held at this session. The Business Meeting will be followed by additional informative presentations. Members, please be sure to attend this final session.
