Facility Maintenance Dredging: Ohio River Mile 322.5

Notice is given that on or about 26 June 2023, Superior Marine Inc., will commence facility maintenance dredging for Nucor River Metals Recycling, LLC., located along the left descending bank of the Ohio River, mile 322.5.

The contractor’s floating plant will consist of the M/V MATTHEW T and one barge mounted crane. The M/V MATTHEW T will be monitoring marine channels 13 and 16. The work will be performed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and is expected to be completed on or about 30 June 2023.

During non-working hours the contractor’s floating plant will be moored off site. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
