Facility Maintenance Dredging, Ohio River Mile 322.5

Notice is given that on or about 19 December 2022, Superior Marine, Inc. will commence facility maintenance dredging for Nucor River Metals Recycling, LLC, along the left descending bank of the Ohio River, mile 322.5.

The contractor's floating plant will consist of the M/V MATTHEW T, one hopper barge, and one barge mounted crane. The M/V MATTHEW T will be monitoring channels, 13 and 16. The work will be performed seven days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and is expected to be completed on or about 20 January 2023.

The floating plant will be moored off-site during non-working hours and will be lighted according to regulations. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake.
