Financial Reporting Analyst (St. Louis, MO)

Alberici is accepting applications for a Financial Reporting Analyst in St. Louis, MO. Alberici Group, LLC is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to add to our St. Louis-based Financial Services group. The Financial Reporting Analyst prepares financial reports in accordance with the Corporate Closing and Reporting Schedule and on an as needed basis. In addition to the report preparation, the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing management and executives with the analysis and information they need to make operational, financial, and strategic decisions. This would include weekly production reporting, monthly work in progress schedules, annual and monthly budgeting, cash flow reporting/forecasting and understanding of company’s historical performance.

Position Overview

The Financial Reporting Analyst is accountable for the following:

  • Prepares and distributes Weekly Labor Productivity Reports.
  • Prepares and monitors consolidation of Monthly Work in Progress Schedule in accordance with the Corporate Accounting and Closing Schedule.
  • Prepares and monitors consolidation of Monthly Overheads in accordance with the Corporate Accounting and Closing Schedule.
  • Prepares and distributes various weekly and monthly cash flow forecast models.
  • Management of Revenue Recognition to ensure alignment with the Revenue Recognition Standard ASC 606.
  • Preparation of financial slides for various employee meetings and external stakeholders.
  • Completion of financial information for surveys, renewals, and proposals.
  • Reconciliations between Work in Progress Schedule and general ledger.
  • Supports successful completion of year-end audits.
  • Provides extensive analysis of historical financials.
  • Clearly communicates financial variances.
  • Analysis of risk and opportunities that would impact current financial plan.
  • Monitors and develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provides information needed to answer key questions from external stakeholders.
  • Financial Modeling.
  • Part of the Early Warning System that raises the red flag when risks are identified through extensive financial analysis and communicates findings as early as possible to project/executive management to mitigate financial impact.
  • Special Projects as needed.


Qualified candidates will possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or other financial-related field and 2-5 years of applicable cost accounting experience or public accounting.
