Fort Loudoun lock will have intermittent closures from February 21st, 2023 through April 29th, 2023. These intermittent closures will last between 4 and 10 hours each day Monday – Saturday between 7AM – 6PM. Work being performed is resurfacing and recoating the steel armor plating and other steel structures in the lock chamber and other areas at Fort Loudoun Lock. Recreational boaters are highly encouraged to call Fort Loudoun Lock well in advance on the day of their anticipated arrival to check on the status of the lock.
