Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 23-35, dated 5 April 2023, stating that Leland Bowman Lock will be closed to navigation from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., on 18 and 19 April 2023, for a U.S. Government Maintenance Unit to replace gate machinery.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT WORK BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT MAINTENANCE UNIT AT LELAND BOWMAN LOCK HAS BEEN EXTENDED. THE LOCK WILL BE CLOSED TO NAVIGATION FROM 7:00 A.M. UNTIL 5:00 P.M. ON 20 APRIL 2023, TO STABILIZE MOORING BITS IN THE LOCK CHAMBER.
