ATCHAFALAYA RIVER STOUT’S PASS (UPDATE)

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-56, dated 13 May 2022, stating that the U.S. Government Dustpan Dredge JADWIN will be working at Stout’s Pass between mile 113 and mile 117 of the Atchafalaya River through approximately 6:00 p.m. Monday, 23 May 2022.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE DREDGING OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 27 MAY 2022.

The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, and will give way to vessels using the waterway.

The Dredge can be contacted on VHF channel 13 or 16 for sailing instructions.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
