NAVIGATION BULLETIN NO. 22-40, 12 APRIL 2022,

GULF INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY (MORGAN CITY-PORT ALLEN ALT RTE) - PORT ALLEN LOCK

Commencing on 18 April 2022 and continuing through 9 May 2022, a U.S. Government Maintenance Unit will be performing repairs to the timbers on the floating concrete guidewall. The majority of the work will be performed from behind the guidewall, and no delays to navigation are expected.

Mariners are to use extreme caution when entering and exiting the forebay while the repair work is ongoing.
