Middle River Marine is accepting applications for a Harbor Deckhand (Henry, IL)

The Harbor Deckhand is responsible for safely locking and unlocking vessels to and from the harbor and making sure those vessels are loaded, unloaded, and ready for transport while prioritizing safety at all times.

Requirements

  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)-Ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Knowledge of marine terminology, technology, and equipment necessary for the job
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred
  • Ability to ware safety PPE and follow safety procedures
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold environments)

Job Type: Full-time

Harbor Deckhand- Starting hourly wage - $22.36
Starting Annual Salary $46,500

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

  • Henry, IL 61537: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
