MSIB 36-22: Hazard to Navigation Advisory

As of October 27, 2022 an eight hundred foot section of dredge pipe was displaced and the anchor holding the dredge pipe is unaccounted for.

As such, there is a temporary restriction on vessel movements for vessels drafting greater than 36 feet. Movements are not permitted for vessels with drafts greater than 36 feet between mile marker 5 (buoy 60) to mile marker 20 (buoy 85/86). Vessels with drafts greater than 36 feet are permitted to shift berths at the same facility as needed.

The Coast Guard will issue a Broadcast Notice to Mariners.
