Houston Ship Channel Widening Project 11

New Project 11 Channel dimensions are in effect for a section of the Houston Ship Channel from

300 feet Inbound of Lighted Buoy 27 (Station 124+000) to 100 feet Inbound of Lighted Buoys 35/36 (Station 108+000).

The USCG Aids to Navigation Team has set the following aids to navigation according to the new channel dimensions: Lighted Buoy 29, Lighted Buoy 30, Lighted Buoy 31, Lighted Buoy 32, Lighted Buoy 33, Lighted Buoy 34, Light 35, and Light 36.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO PROCEED WITH VIGILANCE AS THEY ACCUSTOM THEMSELVES TO THE NEW DIMENSIONS AND NOTE WHERE THE OLD CHANNEL DIMENSIONS MEET THE NEW CHANNEL DIMENSIONS.
