Illinois River: LOCK CLOSURE - Brandon Road Lock, River Mile 286.0

Date: 05/05/2022 06:00 thru 05/06/2022 18:00 CDT

Brandon Road Lock, River Mile 286.0 will be closed to all navigation on the following dates and times;

Thursday, May 5, 2022 0600-1800

Friday, May 6, 2022 0600-1800

The purpose of the closure is so the maintenance crew can remove material upstream of the lock chamber for bulkhead slot installation.

Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guidewalls during this closure period. Please contact the lock at 815-744-1714 or on channel 14 for assistance.
