The IRPT Legislative Fly-In brings members directly to Washington, DC to engage with policymakers and federal agencies responsible for inland navigation, infrastructure, and maritime transportation.
The Inland Rivers, Ports & Terminals (IRPT) Legislative Committee is a member-driven body that guides the Association’s advocacy efforts at the federal level. Comprised of the Board of Directors and interested members from across the inland waterway system, the Committee ensures IRPT’s policy positions reflect real-world operational experience and basin-level priorities.
