Kentucky Lock Closed Tennessee River Mile 22.4

The M/V Addie Bell ran aground at TNRM 22.4 Kentucky Lock in the lower approach while headed northbound at 0250 on 5 May 2023. This resulted in damage to the barge that will require transfer of the cargo. It is estimated the lock will be closed 1-3 days in response as the barge recovery efforts have the channel blocked. An amendment to this notice will be issued once the lock is re-opened.
