Lock Closure Lock No. 19, UMR Mile 364.2

Lock No. 19 will be closed to all navigation for a series of closures on the dates and times listed below. The purpose of the closures is to perform maintenance on the underwater acoustical deterrent system deployed in the lower reach of the lock.

1. Wednesday April 12, 2023: 6-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1300 hours

2. Thursday April 13, 2023: 12-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1900 hours

3. Tuesday April 18, 2023: 12-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1900 hours

4. Wednesday April 19, 2023: 6-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1300 hours

Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guidewalls during the closure periods. Please contact the lock at 319-524-2631 or on channel 14 for assistance.
