Locks & Dam 52, Ohio River Mile 938.9 Navigation Lane Change

Effective between 17 October 2022 and 31 October 2022 until further notice, the navigation lane at Locks and Dam 52 (Ohio River Mile 938.9) will be shifted from the center of the Navigation Pass toward the left descending bank to facilitate demolition activities, as shown in the attached buoy layout drawing. The navigation lane will remain approximately 850 feet wide. The lane will be marked with physical buoys.

All mariners must exercise caution when transiting area. The contractor’s vessel M/V Tombigbee will be working in the area and can be reached on Marine Radio Channel 13.
