Maintenance Dredging Operations Tennessee River Mile 98

Beginning September 1, 2026 and continuing through November 15, 2026, crews will be conducting maintenance dredging operations for Occidental Chemical Corporation to restore navigable river depth at Tennessee River Mile 98.

During dredging operations, mariners can expect to see a waterborne excavator at the work site and should use extreme caution when transiting the area. During non-working hours, equipment will be moored at New Johnsonville Marine Services fleeting area.

Work Hours will be Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Marine Radio Channel 13 will be monitored during working hours.
