Approximately 30 minutes from the US border at Queenston, Niagara Falls, and Fort Erie/Buffalo, FMT Thorold is located above Lock 7 on the east side of the Welland canal.

FMT Thorold has 1 berths at seaway draft, 20 acres of open storage and limited inside storage (available upon request). This FMT facility has immediate access to Highways 406  and Queen Elizabeth Expressway.

Equipment includes:

• Forklifts with capacities up to 45,000 lb
• Front-end loaders

 

Commodities handled include steel, project cargo, bulk, and other breakbulk cargoes.
