Port of South Louisiana St. Charles Parish

Within Port of South Louisiana’s (PortSL) district, there are more than 68 industrial partners ranging from grain elevators to general cargo facilities, with land available for future expansion and/or new industrial endeavors. It envelops the parishes (counties) of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and St. James, collectively named the River Region. PortSL is serviced by three Class I railroads (CN, KCS, and UP) and major road access includes Interstates 10, 310, and 55, U.S. Highways 51, 61, and 90, and Louisiana Highways 44, 181 3127, and 3125.
