Mechanical Dredging (Stike Removal): Deadman’s Mile UMR mile 567.6 to 568.7

Mechanical dredging (Strike Removal) operations has commenced on Monday, 29-August-2022 and will continue until Further Notice at Deadman’s, UMR Mile 567.6 to 568.7. Dredging will be performed 7 days a week, 10.5 hrs per day, 0700-1730.

Mariners are requested to contact the MV Rock Island or MV Moline on channel 13, 14, 16 or 82, THIRTY minutes prior to transiting the area.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
