Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossing

Commencing on or about 20 May 2023 and continuing until approximately 31 October 2023, the U.S. Government Dustpan Dredge HURLEY will be working at the Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossings between mile 234 and mile 151 Above Head of Passes (AHP).
The first dredging location will be at Red Eye Crossing, at approximate mile 224.0 AHP of the Mississippi River.
The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will give way to vessels using the waterway. The Dredge can be contacted on either VHF channel 16 or 67 for sailing instructions.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
