Mississippi River Lock Closure Lock & dam 19, River Mile 364.2

Effective: 05/06/2026 07:00 thru 05/06/2026 19:00 CDT

Lock 19 will be closed from 0700-1900 on May 6, 2026.

The purpose of the closure is to allow removal of a large test block of concrete placed underwater in the upstream approach during the previous winter closure.

Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guide walls during this closure period.
