MKARNS: US Coast Guard Advisory I-30 Bridge, Blocked Channel

Date: 01/18/2023 thru 01/20/2023

Due to demolition activities on the old I-30 Bridge(NM 118.5), the navigation channel in this area will be blocked during the dates and times indicated below.

January 18

There will be one blockage within 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., for a duration of up to 30 minutes. Contact the M/V Bill O’Donley on channel 16 or 68 for updates.

January 19 & 20

There will be one blockage each day, within 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., for a duration of up to 30 minutes each. Contact the M/V Bill O’Donley on channel 16 or 68 and be
prepared to stop one half-mile upstream or downstream of the I-30 bridge.

Mariners must follow all instructions given by members of the construction project or law enforcement.
